We impatiently await
our advertising.
Perhaps fresh out of material from its last cattle call, Current TV is again challenging audiences to create online ads for the network, reports ClickZ.
Current TV previously called for viewers to create their own 30- or 60-second spots for either the channel itself or sponsors. But now it's looking for ads that can be run in banners, or elsewhere online.
The call for submissions comes after the site conducted a minor redesign with more broadband-friendly material in mind.
Current TV members are frequently asked to create their own spots for sponsors or the channel itself. Research conducted by the channel suggests viewers prefer user-generated spots to the ones from the sponsor's ad agency, in a margin of about nine to one.
