Coremetrics Buys IBM Analytics, to Offer Multi-channel Solution

Web analytics provider Coremetrics has acquired IBM's SurfAid Analytics, an on-demand web analytics service, reports DM News. SurfAid, created by IBM Global Services in 1996, has a customer base that spans communications, manufacturing, media, publishing, retail, financial services and travel/transportation, as well as corporate intranets. Coremetrics has also teamed with IBM to offer a multi-channel business analytics solution for websites running IBM's WebSphere Commerce e-commerce solution.
