Bloggers will have access to free stock photos as long as they agree to ads appearing in those pics, reports Reuters.
The free pics come from stock photo service Corbis. Bloggers can go to PicApp.com and find the photos they need. Ads are embedded in the picture as overlays or as pop ups that appear when a visitor mouses over the picture.
Corbis has not turned a profit in nearly 20 years and is now hoping tapping into online advertising money can help turn that around.
Bloggers can earn revenue from the ad-laden pictures based on how many times the photos are clicked on from their site.
