Next summer, Coke will use global positioning transponders in special cans of the soft drink to locate prize winners. Neat idea, but it begs the question - does Coke know that GPS coverage can be spotty indoors, where a good percentage of soft drinks are consumed? Additionally, what are the privacy advocates going to think of a soft drink can that broadcasts your location?
