Adverblog reports the launch of a new Coca Cola site for the Brazilian market that incorporates a blog and a community located on Google's Orkut service. The effort, put together by interactive shop Agenciaclick, is called the Vibezone, a music-oriented site drawing attention to Coca Cola-sponsored concerts (surely the gig scheduled for June 17th for CPM 22 would be a big hit among advertisers).
The blog reported traffic of only a couple thousand visits - which may change after this trade site and others report on it. That, according to Adverblog, is precisely the reason most corporate blogs should opt not to show their pageview counters.
Would-be visitors should be warned that the site is in Portuguese, although the clever design is worth seeing even in the absence of understanding the copy.
