Four Democratic candidates
debate in New Hampshire

In a political merge between traditional and digital media, CNN and YouTube recently announced they would co-sponsor upcoming Democratic and Republican presidential debates, according to the International Herald Tribune.

The first such debate takes place between the eight Democratic candidates this July 23 in South Carolina. YouTube users will be able to submit questions to the presidential hopefuls through the video platform.

Anderson Cooper, a CNN anchor known for his informal delivery, was chosen to moderate between viewers and candidates.
