Spanish-language broadcaster Univision and tech review site CNET are partnering to bridge their audiences.
The two are building a microsite featuring Spanish-language technology and gadget reviews. The venture enables CNET to earn credibility among Spanish audiences and gives Univision inroads to an increasingly tech-savvy Hispanic population.
Univision will sell advertising on the co-branded site, with revenue split between the two companies. Expansion of the partnership, including having talent and programming from one appear on the other, is a possibility if this venture is a success.
