Click-to-Call Widget Makes Social Networking Debut

For MySpace and Facebook users seeking a real-time connection, Ccube has released a click-to-call widget that protects a user's personal information, according to a Ccube release.

Ccube registrants specify a series of preferences and search criteria to help cue others who may exhibit similarities. Ccube keeps track of those available to receive calls. When one member expresses interest in contacting another, Ccube conducts the call between the parties, displaying a generic number on both ends.

The subscription-based service costs $20 for 1,000 minutes per month, $7 for 250 minutes, and is complementary for a 60-minute allotment per month.
The service, which enables audible conversation at a button's push, enables potential friends to better gauge who lies behind the Web profile without having to betray what may be left of their own privacy.
