Click Quality Council Yields New Guidelines

Can you pick out the fraudulent clicker?

The Click Quality Council has released a list of principles to ensure click quality, reports DMNews.

The guidelines are designed to help search marketers ensure their pay-per-click campaigns deliver quality results and avoid fraud. Many are also included as reassurances (or chides) that marketers need not pay for bot-produced or repeat clicks.

Others still remind marketers that they are not generally responsible for ads that run outside the campaign parameters they've set up and that they have easy-to-understand and validated numbers available to them from the platform they use.

CQC released the principles to serve as a foundation for advertisers in future discussions about click quality.
