The Clearspring launchpad
Clearspring is the first widget network to be approved by the Audit Bureau of Circulations' Digital Technology Accreditation initiative, reports MediaPost.
The Digital Technology Accreditation effort audits emerging technologies, including ad, gaming and widget platforms, as well as new e-newsletter delivery systems.
"I think this gives media buyers a lot of comfort to know that our numbers have been audited by a third party," said CEO Hooman Radfar of Clearspring, who suggested this was a significant step toward making widgets standard in online ad strategy.
Clearspring recently partnered with KickApps to promote a do-it-yourself widget and tracking service to marketers.
