Clear Channel, Accipiter in Ad Integration Deal

Clear Channel Communications and online advertising tech firm Accipiter have struck a deal whereby the latter's AdManager product will manage tracking, billing, ad serving and ad planning for Clear Channel TV, radio, and online ads, reports MediaPost.

"They have pretty grandiose plans to integrate their online ads with their offline programs, and they need systems to work together for that," Accipiter VP of sales and account management Jeff Wood is quoted as saying.

MV Note: Accipiter will not be the adserver of choice for all of Clear Channel. Rather, Clear Channel's TV division will be using Accipiter's solution to serve ads on the TV division's websites. Clear Channel Music and Radio Online, as well as its Entertainment division, will continue to use 24/7 Real Media's Open AdStream solution.
