Technology company Cisco will begin sponsoring a user-driven redesign of Slate's "Fray" discussion forums, according to MediaPost.
The redesign is being driven by the site's users, who will offer their opinions on how to improve the forums, which debuted over 10 years ago. Cisco will sponsor the six-week process of soliciting opinions.

Ads that run on Slate will play on the same theme of communication-enabling community.
