AFP: China becomes world's second most popular destination for spam

China can get as good as it gives, according to the Internet Society of China. The government agency said that China received 46 billion spam messages last year, constituting about a third of Chinese email. Recent efforts to blacklist suspect servers have not had a noticeable impact.
