Foote Cone & Belding's New York CEO Steve Centrillo has left the company.
Just as the newly merged Draft FCB is set to announce its new management team, Centrillo's exit could pave the way for Draft's New York president, Wendy Lurrie - but for one possible obstacle, OgilvyOne veteran Peter DeNunzio, who is expected to join the Interpublic Group agency, writes AdAge.
Who will head the NY office has been a popular topic of speculation, and teams from both Draft and FCB have been maneuvering since the merger was announced.
Draft won't say much, other than to confirm the departure of Centrillo, who last year joined FCB - which was promptly sued by Centrillo's former employer WPP Group's Grey for recruiting away Centrillo.
