CBS launched a new marketing unit to bring together ad buying across all its platforms (previously covered here months ago, reports BrandWeek.
The unit, dubbed CBS Connections, brings together online, TV, radio and outdoor ad sales operations. Connections will work with CBS Riot, a similar umbrella unit designed to work with local advertisers. It replaces Viacom Plus, which served a similar purpose before the Viacom/CBS split.
Fred Sawabini, who served as SVP at Viacom Plus, will now be SVP at CBS Connections.
