CBS has added 356 Web sites from affiliated TV and radio stations to its programming distribution network, reports Mediaweek.
The move adds 144 radio station sites and 212 affiliate or owned and operated TV station sites to the CBS Interactive Audience Network. CBS will use that network to spread its television programming across the Internet, making it accessible from just about anywhere online.
Local stations will also be able to send their own video across the distribution network, giving local content more exposure. CBS already has sites like Joost, Veoh, AOL and others onboard.
