Stalzer Bows Out at IAC Ad Solutions
Rich Stalzer has resigned from his post as President of IAC Advertising Solutions, according to a report from paidContent.
A spokeswoman stated Stalzer will depart to pursue other interests, but assist with the resulting management transition. In the meantime, CFO Tom McInerney is overseeing his sector, which manages sales for Citysearch, Evite, March.com and IAC's ad network.

Obama Solicits Texts to 'See What's Happening' in Africa
Prior to his Friday trip to Ghana, President Barack Obama has received thousands of text messages about Africa -- messages of both support and criticism, says the White House.
The texts were sent after the Administration set up country-specific SMS codes to which inhabitants of Africa were invited to send messages.

AOL Taps Ex-Googler Tim Armstrong for CEO/Chairman
In a surprise announcement last week, Time Warner's Jeff Bewkes announced the appointment of ex-Google Advertising Head Tim Armstrong as AOL's new CEO and Chairman.

Murdoch to NYTimes.com: Charge a Fee!
Media emperor Rupert Murdoch is advocating charging an online subscription fee for The New York Times, much like the model currently in use by his own paper, the Wall Street Journal.
