Home Depot is partnering with Avot Media to test video how-tos for mobile users.

Mobile content firm 4INFO has enlisted Yahoo for a trial run of its mobile text ad technology, reports The Wall Street Journal.

YouTube Valiantly Tackles Citizen Journalism
YouTube has unveiled a Citizen News channel that aggregates newsworthy video content.
The channel was announced on YouTube's blog by "Olivia M.," its news manager.

Microsoft (Again) Pays Users to Patronize Live Search
Microsoft is rolling out a loyalty program whereby users are paid to use Live Search, reports The Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

Epic Gets Off Easy in ASIS Spam Lawsuit
Epic Advertising, formerly AzoogleAds, has won a suit charging it for CAN-SPAM violation.
The suit was filed by ASIS, an internet service provider. ASIS alleged AzoogleAds violated federal and state anti-spam regulations by sending over 10,000 unsolicited emails to potential clients.

British Proposal May Force ISPs to Fork Over Online Activity, Emails, VOIP Calls
The British Home Office is considering a proposal that would require British ISPs and telecoms to surrender records of customer emails, internet use, VOIP calls, and text messages.
