Microsoft Shuts Down Live Search Books, Live Search Academic
Microsoft has released a statement informing users that Live Search Books and Live Search Academic will shut down this week.
"Books and scholarly publications will continue to be integrated into our Search results, but not through separate indexes," wrote SVP Satya Nadella of search, portal and advertising at Microsoft.

Nike, Crispin End 13-Month Fling
After less than 13 months, Nike has divorced its running shoe account from Crispin Porter + Bogusky. The account, which included the Nike+ and Nike ID websites, will return to Nike's lead agency, Wieden + Kennedy, Portland.

Google Content Network Opens to Third Parties

Mars to Buy Wrigley, with a Little Help from Buffett
"Oracle of Omaha" investor Warren Buffett is partnering with candy vendor Mars Inc. to absorb Wrigley, the no. 1 chewing gum manufacturer in the world, for $23 billion.

'Most Creative Media Agency' Wins $300M Intel Account
Intel Corp. has passed its $300 million media buying and planning account to OMD, a subsidiary of Omnicom Group.
