Automakers Pay for Gas in Popular Promos
Chrysler is extending its offer of $2.99/gallon for gas through July 7 due to the success of the campaign -- and other automakers have followed suit, reports MediaBuyerPlanner.
The automaker's "Let's Refuel America" campaign, which offers consumers $2.99 per gallon of gas for up to three years with the purchase of select models.

'Half-Clad' Roller Derby League Goes Virtual in 'Comic Book World'
Virtual world Urbaniacs, which enables children to act out hero/villain fantasies, has formed an exclusive agreement with roller derby league the LA Derby Dolls.

MoveOn Solicits Agency Assistance for Presidential Campaign
Political nonprofit MoveOn.org is seeking creative entries from agencies in order to help steer the 2008 Presidential election in its favor.

Barack Obama Takes Lion's Share of Online Video Viewerships
Barack Obama enjoyed the highest number of online video viewers in March, compared to other presidential candidates, reports Nielsen Online.
The research group reported "very little viewer overlap" between candidates, suggesting watchers have already committed to whom they plan to vote for.
All told, Obama's website drew 518,000 unique visitors in March alone. Hillary Clinton lagged significantly behind at 351,000 uniques, and John McCain had only 38,000.

Segway Launches Enthusiast Community
Segway, a vendor of pricey electric scooters, has launched a site devoted to fostering its community of passionate users.
Segway Social allows scooter owners to share war stories and photos. Much like the Harley Club, users are encouraged to organize groups and arrange local get-togethers to foster community and brand loyalty.
