Univision Gives Real-Time Control to Hispanic Advertisers
Univision is launching an online ad network designed to help advertisers better connect with US Hispanics. Spanish-language broadcaster Univision and tech review site CNET are partnering to bridge their audiences.

QuePasa Revitalized as Social Network
With new leadership in place, the QuePasa portal is relaunching as a social network site for Hispanics, reports Advertising Age.

Batanga Purchases Hispanic Ad Network HispanoClick
Hispanic ad network HispanoClick has been purchased by Batanga, a publisher that also targets Hispanics.
Batanga, which offers online music coverage and hosts live streaming events, says this is the first time a Hispanic publisher has ever bought an ad network.
HispanoClick reaches over 5.6 million monthly unique users. It has worked with over 800 other publishers prior to the purchase and has relationships with a wide range of advertisers.

Fox Buys Spanish, Portuguese Online Ad Firms
Fox International has purchased two online ad networks to flesh out its overseas offerings, reports Variety.
Spanish-language ClickDiario and Portuguese-speaking Directa Networks were both bought up by FIC and will both help form a new online ad division. FIC made the purchases to work around regulations that prohibit it from advertising on the websites of cable or satellite competitors.

Lopez Negrete Forms Hispanic Interactive Unit
