Video Ad Rates Plummet 25% in 4Q08, Brightroll Says

Average rates for pre-roll online video ads dropped 25% in 2008's fourth quarter compared to 4Q07, according to video ad firm BrightRoll. From Q3 2008, rates fell 12.5%. Ad Network Pricing Keeps Falling; Social Networks, Gaming Sites Improve

Overall monetization in the online ad industry dropped by 0.7 percent from last month, following a 23 percent drop from the previous month.
