25% Boost in Visitors Makes Gmail a Top-3 US Email Provider

New comScore figures report Gmail, the web mail service provided by Google, is now the third-largest in the US. Slumps in Media Sales Strike Blow to Amazon's Q2

Hit hard by a decline in sales for books, music and DVDs, Amazon's net profits fell 10% in Q2, to $142 million (32 cents a share). The figure is down from $158 million, 37 cents a share, in Q1.
