To narrow down your selection of articles, click on the "AND" or "NOT" next to any of the categories below. Say you’re currently browsing entries in category "A", you can then drill down into entries that belong both to category A and another category, or belong to category A but not another category. For instance, you could list entries about demographics in the automotive sector, or entries about email marketing that are not about spam. Numbers in the columns below indicate how many entries the selected operation will narrow your query to. You can combine multiple intersection and exclusion criteria to further limit the number of entries.

The Mysteries of 4G Promotion
Verizon is offering, again, its double data promotion, giving users a chance to sign up for 4 GBs of data for $30 and a 10 GB plan for $50. It also plans to offer bundles of data and mobile hotspot functionality. Verizon’s timing, though, is unfortunate in that it was just skewered on Saturday Night Live for its confusing offers.
To be sure, Verizon could easily have been a proxy for all wireless companies that confuse or mislead companies with their offers. "Leave it to [...]

BoA Shows How Not to Defend a Reputation Against a WikiLeak
WikiLeak has been promising to release information that will be very damaging to a large financial institution. The site has been coy about the name, but it is widely believed that Bank of America is the institution in question. The bank has said it doesn’t know what the leak could be – but apparently it is readying for some kind of bombshell by registering domain names that could possibly be used to criticize or make fun of it.
In recent days it has taken "hundreds" of d [...]

Are Consumers Becoming More Suspicious of Social Networks?
The outrage over the privacy violations in Google Buzz reportedly took the company aback: tested internally at Google, the employees apparently loved it and assumed the general public would too. That was not the case. Buzz, when it was first released, connected people to those with whom they had been emailing the most - whether they opted for it or not.
Furthermore the network was transparent, meaning that contacts could see who else was in the network. Google received more than 9,000 an [...]

Google's 'Mail Googles' Prevent Drunken Rants from Reaching Recipients
Google Labs debuted a playful new feature called Mail Googles, whose job it is to prevent hapless late-night users from drunkenly sending emotional emails -- and potentially alienating colleagues or networking partners.
The feature switches on during late evenings over the weekend. (Users can customize what time they are most likely to need the service.) Before their message is sent, email writers must solve a series of simple math problems "to verify you're in the right state of mind," [...]

Eight consumer and public interest groups filed a complaint with the FCC, protesting an incident in which Verizon Wireless blocked text messages sent by NARAL Pro-Choice America, an abortion rights group.
The petition states carriers should not be able to block texts sent by political groups or advertisers.
But the group also cites another incident, where Verizon blocked messages from [...]

Lowe's Violates Intellectual Property Law in Tete-a-Tete with Lowes-Sucks
Contrary to corporate sentiment, the creation of an anti-corporate website is generally protected by law. Sometimes it is the corporation itself that faces judicial scrutiny in roundabout efforts to clear its befouled name.
Such is the case with Lowe's and its nemesis of the moment, Lowes-Sucks.com.
Dissatisfied with a shoddy but expensive fence installation, Lowe's customer Allen Harkleload refused to pay until the problem was fixed.
Instead of complying, the Lowe's bill [...]

The web has given birth to yet another word that defeats the laws of the English language.
