Spotify Pens Global Promotional Deal With Coca-Cola
It is official: Music-streaming service Spotify has signed a strategic partnership with Coca-Cola. Spotify will provide a brand app for the beverage giant inside the Spotify desktop app, alongside brand apps for AT&T, McDonelds, Intel and Reebok. In return, Coca-Cola will feature Spotify as the centerpiece of its "Year of Music" campaign in 2013.

Google Lists Hotel Prices on Google Maps
Google continues to experiment with new ad formats using its ubiquitous Google Maps.
The latest is a feature it introduced that shows specific rates for selected hotel listings when searching for hotels on Google Maps. With this feature, when a user searches for hotels on Google Maps he or she can enter the dates for the stay and see actual prices on selected listings.

Recently Alex Payne, an engineer at Twitter, posted the following message: "If you had some of the nifty site features that we Twitter employees have, you might not want to use a desktop client. (You will soon.)"

Cola Brands Continue Quest for Happiness

Tuesday Tops for Brands on Facebook
Data from social media services vendor ViTrue says Tuesdays are the day in which click-through rates are highest on content posted on Facebook-based brand pages: 9.89%.

Facebook, Nokia Partner for Mobile/Socnet 'Lifecasting'
Nokia is partnering with Facebook to launch a "lifecasting" feature that weds both the socnet and the mobile vendor's handsets.
The service would enable users to post locations and status updates from their phones to their Facebooks. Facebook Invites Charities into Experimental Gift Shop
At the Social Good Conference on Friday, marketing/outreach director Randi Zuckerberg announced Facebook would be opening its new "credits" platform to four non-profits: Project Red, Toms Shoes, Kiva and the Wold Wildlife Fund.

Dell, Moonfruit Claim Twitter Campaigns Effective
At a Twitter for Brands event hosted by New Media Age in London on Friday, Dell representatives said they have seen tangible uplifts in sales which can be directly attributed to marketing on Twitter. The brand's Twitter account has driven $3 million in sales since it began operation in 2007.
