C-SPAN Launches Debate Hub for Election Junkies
Late last week C-SPAN launched the Debate Hub, a space where users can discuss the Presidential debate between Senators Barack Obama and John McCain, view clips, and hash out major topics.

Updated Senate Web Linking Rules Include Social Media Sites
The Senate Rules and Administration Committee has updated existing limitations on sites that Senators are allowed to link to from their official pages.

GOP Unhappy Over Use of Its Trademarks in CafePress Merchandise
The Republican National Committee (RNC) plans to sue CafePress for permitting vendors to sell unlicensed Republican merchandise, including shirts and stickers that portray the Grand Old Party elephant -- even if those portrayals are positive.

Red-State Shopping Habits are Just as Green as Blue States'
Some of the heaviest "green" shopping -- that is, purchases made with the environment in mind -- occurs in red states like Idaho, Alaska and Utah, reports Advertising Age. In terms of who's greener, there are no strong differences between red and blue states.

Barack Obama Takes Lion's Share of Online Video Viewerships
Barack Obama enjoyed the highest number of online video viewers in March, compared to other presidential candidates, reports Nielsen Online.
The research group reported "very little viewer overlap" between candidates, suggesting watchers have already committed to whom they plan to vote for.
All told, Obama's website drew 518,000 unique visitors in March alone. Hillary Clinton lagged significantly behind at 351,000 uniques, and John McCain had only 38,000.
