Amazon Pulls Plug on Paid Search Associates' Fees
As of May 1, 2009, web retail giant Amazon will cease paying referral fees to Associates that use pay-per-click programs on search engines to send traffic to amazon.com, amazon.ca or endless.com.

Short CJ Outage Investigated
A Tuesday site outage for Commission Junction is being investigated, according to a Internetnews.com report. Affiliate ads failed to appear, leaving blank spots on some sites, and some people could not log into their CJ accounts between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. A company executive attributed the temporary outage to a third party hosting firm and said that results of the investigation will be reported to members when completed.
