Yahoo Lands Search Deal with Grande Latin American Carrier
Yahoo is partnering with Latin America's largest mobile phone company, America Movil, to provide mobile web services in 16 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Fox Buys Spanish, Portuguese Online Ad Firms
Fox International has purchased two online ad networks to flesh out its overseas offerings, reports Variety.
Spanish-language ClickDiario and Portuguese-speaking Directa Networks were both bought up by FIC and will both help form a new online ad division. FIC made the purchases to work around regulations that prohibit it from advertising on the websites of cable or satellite competitors.

Major Portals to Launch Hispanic Trade Campaign
AdWeek reports a group of sites including AOL, MSN, Yahoo, Terra Networks and Univision, plan to bow a trade campaign to media buyers in the second half of the year. Google Global Revs Increase Fastest
SearchEngineLowdown points out a BusinessWeek story showing that Google's international revenues are growing much faster than the domestic business. It now accounts for 35 percent of the revenues, up from 29 percent in the same quarter last year.
