Jupiter Research reports that car dealers increase the odds of customers coming back when they add to their websites features like financing calculators and customized car configurators. According to analyst Belis Aksoy, seven out of ten people doing online research for car purchases finish their information retrieval process without having settled on a particular dealer. Dealerships that have on their sites insurance applications and the ability to give estimates of the value of trade-ins stand a higher chance of being chosen.
