Car Industry Leading Charge to Deliver Online Video Ads in HD

In terms of video quality, the car industry is leading the charge in online video advertising, reports NewTeeVee.

DriverTV buyers can test drive a wide range of automobiles from 30 car manufacturers thanks to high-definition videos and 360-degree virtual tours. Already, Time.com named DriverTV one of the 50 best websites of 2007.

In 2005, launched a video-on-demand cable network and now airs in 23 million households with digital cable and 500,000 hotel rooms.

DaimlerChrysler AG followed suit by launching Mercedes-Benz TV earlier this week. The online network features high-definition video featuring topics such as safety, engines, history and lifestyle on its five channels.
