With a new version of Microsoft's browser soon to be released, some industry players are wringing their collective hands over how the changes may affect ad delivery. In particular, patent work-arounds involving auto-launching rich media and features that reject cookies from sites with weak privacy policies cause stress among ad serving companies and some publishers. Some fatalistic industry hands point out that there's not much they can do until the Redmond monopoly inflicts its final changes.
