CMR: Restrictions on File Distribution Impacts Broadband Perception
Broadband users are touchy about their access, according to a new study by Horowitz Associates/Livingston and Company. They feel that having restrictions such as download quantity limits - even enormous ones - and restrictions from setting up servers would severely impact their impression of their service. Sort of like most SUV drivers, who never take their vehicles off-road, yet like to know that they can, it appears broadband users enjoy having the free and clear open spaces of the fast Internet at their beck and call - even if they never go there.
