Revolution: Broadband erodes television viewing hours says survey
Maybe it's not
the broadband
Wanadoo found that the cure for the common TV habit just might be putting broadband in the household. Monitoring changed media habits for those getting fast Internet access, Wanadoo found that the biggest change was two hours less of TV viewing across the British ISP's market. The study also found that broadbanders used the net twice as much as those with dial-up and were very likely to be using the Internet for entertainment after 6 p.m., rather than functional uses.
