Brits Found to be Savvier on Ads versus Search Results, Sort Of

SearchEngineLowdown, run by a British expat, comments on a NetImperative story on research that seems to indicate Britons are smarter searchers that Americans. A study showed that 93 percent of Brits understood the difference between organic and paid listings, while only 38 percent of Americans seemed to discern the difference. "Only problem?" notes Lowdown's Andy Beal, "The company that conducted the U.K. survey, did not conduct the U.S. survey. Also, all of my family are still back in ol' Blighty, and they sure don't know the difference."
