Baby boomers (born between 1945 and 1964) tend to spend more money online than other online users, even if they don't make more money, according to a new Jupiter study, reports Internet Retailer. Some 37 percent of baby boomers who bought products or services on the web said they had spent more than $250 in the previous three months, compared with 32 percent of all online users. Boomers constitute nearly one-third of the online population - the largest age group on the web, according to Jupiter - and 76 of them have made online purchases. About 52 percent of online boomers are women.
