Bloglines, the blog tracking service recently acquired by Ask Jeeves, announced its database surpassed 500 million blog postings. The announcement came just prior to Yahoo's announcement that it was buying blog tracking firm blo.gs. Bloglines ads between two and three million entries a day, which include RSS feeds from media sources other than blogs.
