Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications is partnering with Google to integrate Blogger and Google search into Sony Ericsson mobile phones, reports CNET. Preloaded software on phones will allow Blogger users to update their blogs, including posting photos, from their phones. Also, Google search will be standard engine for all Sony Ericsson phones and is tightly integrated, allowing searches from within any page being viewed on the phone.
The first phones to offer the Google features are the K610 UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) phone and the K800 and K790 imaging phones, which come with integrated 3.2-megapixel digital cameras with Autofocus and Xenon flash.
"We are seeing exponential growth in blogging, and consumers are turning more and more often to the internet as a means of sharing information or images in personal blogs," Jan Wareby, corporate executive vice-president for Sony Ericsson, said in a statement. "By working with Google, we're able to offer a quick and easy way for people to blog."
