ClickZ tries to get its arms around blogs, running through research showing that there are somewhere between four million and ten million of the personal web diaries online currently - mostly abandoned efforts - with about another 15,000 added each day. Bloggers are decidedly young, with fewer than ten percent exceeding 29 years of age. One blog entrepreneur cited said there are probably fewer than one million of the sites that are regularly updated, and fewer than 100 with more than a million pageviews per month. The Pew Center has data indicating that about one in nine web viewers regularly read blogs, which means about 50 million individuals worldwide.
