Bing Makes Ads Preview Tool Easier to Reach (And Explains What It's Good For)

In September the Bing Ads platform team boosted its Ad Preview Tool with verified ad delivery status for specific audiences. This month it has simplified access to the preview tool, and greatly extended the list of display languages and publisher domains (see graphic).

Now in addition to reaching Ad Preview from the Tools section within the Bing Ads user interface (UI), you can access the Tool directly without logging into your Bing Ads account.

Getting the Most out of Ad Preview

As the Bing Ads forum describes, the Ad Preview Tool can help you verify the following critical standings:

Whether your ads are in good spots to catch clicks. Because a significant portion of clicks happen in the mainline and top of the side bar, you can ensure that your ads are in those spots by maintaining a good Quality Score and bidding competitively.

Whether your ads have successfully leveraged new ad formats to attract clicks. As the Yahoo! Bing Network is offering newer ad formats (e.g., longer ad titles), the Ad Preview Tool helps you monitor the competition and optimize your ad copies accordingly.

Benchmarking against competitor ads. An effective way to pre-identify loyal customers by reflecting unique business value and offers in a copy. While competitors use discounts to promote themselves, you may instead highlight a 100% satisfaction guaranteed policy, or free shipping.
