Bewkes Considers Making TV Programs On-Demand


Keeping the red button warm

In his first call to discuss quarterly earnings results (pdf), inaugurated CEO Jeff Bewkes of Time Warner made two jolting announcements:

"For some time I've had the strong belief that all linear supported networks should make their content on demand and on television sets, not only on broadband," said Bewkes (via IP Democracy).

"We think this should cement the long term prospects of this business."
