Beware New Zealand Domain Scam

Stuff: Commission urges caution over domain name letter

The New Zealand Commerce Commission urged Internet users to be careful in dealing with a business trading as Domain Names NZ. It seems the company is sending out form letters to holders of .co.nz domain names, giving the impression that they owe money for domain services or renewal, when in fact they are merely offering to register the .net.nz equivalent domain.
