BBC Begins Web TV Trial's Second Phase

The BBC is about to begin the second trial phase of its online TV and radio service, writes NetImperative. This week, the Integrated Media Player (iMP) will be sent to 5,000 volunteers' computers and will allow the U.K. users to view and listen to TV and radio via the web up to seven days after the original broadcast. The BBC said that volunteers' viewing habits would be examined to help gauge public interest.
