BBC Financial Show to Broadcast from Second Life

The equivalent of $600,000 changes hands daily in Second Life. This figure has inspired The Money Programme to broadcast its Friday episodes live from the virtual world, according to CNET.

Each episode will focus on how people are making real money in virtual worlds. Last year, for example, the Second Life made its first real-world millionaire, virtual real estate mogul Anshe Chung.

The aptly-named Money Program has aired on BBC2 since the 1960s.
