ClickZ: Study: More Net Equals Less TV
The Digital Future Project published a study showing that online usage among web users finally grew to more than the amount of time they watch television. Where two years ago the Project found Television viewed about 2.5 hours more than the web per week, this year showed the web beating TV by just shy of an hour.
Last year a Television Bureau of Advertising (TBA) study showed that among all adults television is still the biggest time suck. Counting all adults, rather than just web users, the TBA found that TV accounted for about 4.3 hours a day and the web only a little more than one hour.
