Two-and-a-half years after buying Razorfish, aQuantive has consolidated its web operations at a single, 80,000 square foot location in Times Square that is 40 percent larger than its previous space, reports AdWeek.
Previously, Avenue A/Razorfish's 300 employees worked in three locations around Manhattan. The new offices, the previous occupant of which was Google, will place the interactive shop Razorfish with media agency Avenue A under one roof. Bob Lord, president of Avenue A/Razorfish East, says the move will help the agency better understand the minds of the online consumer on behalf of the client.
Avenue A/Razorfish has added 70 employees so far this year in New York. Henceforth, the company plans to use a "hotel-ing" system popular with those consulting firms the employees of which spend much of their time at client locations.
Merrill Lynch projects a 24 percent revenue growth for aQuantive in 2007.
