AT&T, Verizon Expected to Determine Video Growth

Installing FiOS

As Verizon and AT&T's report quarterly draws to a close, investors are antsy to see if the two telecoms' expensive video strategy is starting to pay off.

Verizon and AT&T have invested billions of dollars in building high-speed infrastructures to compete with cable companies' all-in-one packages of video, Internet and phone services, according to Reuters.

Share prices will be determined on whether or not Verizon's FiOS and AT&T's U-Verse are attracting new subscribers.
