Napster ready
In time for the holidays, AT&T and Samsung are launching a phone with Napster Mobile called the SLM.
The phone lets users preview and download Napster's catalog, which includes about five million songs, right to phones, according to Reuters.
Users can buy songs for $1.99 individually or sign up to buy five tracks a month for $7.49.
Napster joins a stable of other AT&T music services that include XM Radio Mobile, eMusic, Pandora, and the MusicID song-recognition service. One analyst found AT&T's music strategy too segmented and overabundant.
