Under an exclusive multi-year agreement, Photobucket has agreed to help resuscitate Ask's search and ad program.
Ask.com's search bar will now appear prominently on Photobucket.com, whose user base totals about 44 million per month globally. Ask will also syndicate sponsored listings and display advertising to the photo site.
"Photobucket has one of the largest online audiences, and now Ask.com provides these consumers with the answers to the questions they ask every day," boasted SVP Andrew Moers of Ask.com's Partner Network.
Ask.com is owned by InterActive Corp. In May it claimed about 4.5 percent of search share, lagging in fifth-place behind Microsoft and AOL.
Last year, MySpace purchased PhotoBucket for $250 million, shortly after it was ruled the No. 1 photo sharing site.
