Newmediazero: Ask Jeeves reports first ever annual profit

Ask Jeeves marked its first profitable year. The company grew revenues by about two thirds, to $107 million. CEO Steve Sordello said revenues and profits would continue their upward trends in 2004. Ask Jeeves still sits on a cash pile of $180 million.
