The planned ad campaign for Ask Jeeves, previously mentioned here, goes live this week. Carrie Bishop of Ask Jeeves MarketingFix it is the company's first effort with an ad agency (TBWAChiat Day).
Ms Bishop explains, "The campaign includes 0:10 radio ads in San Francisco, Boston and Los Angeles. The radio tags focus on the most popular searches conducted on Ask.com, and will run through June 21.
"Next week, on June 1, we will launch a month-long online advertising effort to coincide with the radio spots. Multiple copy executions will run across 12 Web sites including CBS MarketWatch, CBS Sportline, CitySearch, Weather.com, Salon.com, How Stuff Works, iVillageHealth, Epicurious, Homestore, MapQuest, Travelocity and Epinions."
